This Leadership Workshop Series will be taught in-person and online.
Tuesdays at 10:30 am July 25, August 1, 8 & 15
Thursdays at 3:00 pm July 27, August 3, 10 & 17
The in person classes will be held at Rowan College of South Jersey, Business & Corporate Center. Each training is packed full of practical information and interaction to build leadership skills and self-awareness. Employee communication, retention, and loyalty are all increased when employers add value to their team. Every participant will receive a Certification of Completion from the John Maxwell Leadership Team.
Week 1. The Beginnings of Leadership: Intentional Living
You will discover the difference between good intentions and intentional living by good actions. There is a gap that people face between having good intentions and actually making a difference in their lives. Many people, deep down, do not believe they can make a difference. We will learn how to bridge that gap and learn that every life can make a difference.
Week 2. The Most Difficult Person in Leadership: Leading Yourself First
How do you lead the toughest person in the room? Here you will learn how to evaluate yourself as a leader by evaluating your followers. You will learn how to gain the confidence and trust of those around you and model positive relationship-building and teamwork.
Week 3. DISCover the Power of Your Communication
The DISC Personality Assessment will help you understand your own personality better as well as the personality of those around you. This produces clearer communication, stronger relationships, and a healthier team that appreciates the strengths of others that are needed for effective collaboration.
Week 4. The Expansion of Leadership: Multiplication of Leaders
Be a river, not a reservoir. What is the legacy you are leaving for your work and for your family? Who am I pouring into to pass on what I know and who I am? Develop a plan to never stop growing and always be investing in the success of others around you. You will learn to train others to train others so that the multiplication of leadership continues.
